The Effectiveness of a Program for Improving Advance Life Support on Improving Advance Life Support Knowledge and Skills of nursing working in Suwannaphum Health Network

Purposes : To compare knowledge and Improving Advance Life Support skills of nursing staff working in Suwannaphum Health Network.
Study design : Quasi - experimental study.
Materials and Methods : A total of 63 samples were nursing staff working in Suvarnabhumi District Health Network which was obtained by a simple random sample. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. And paired t-test test statistics set statistical significance at 95% confidence interval.
Main findings : After intervention, it was found that sample had mean knowledge score about advanced resuscitation increased significantly more than before the experiment (p<.001), with mean score increasing by 5.47 (95%CI : 4.88, 6.06) and mean score of advanced resuscitation skills increased significantly more than before experiment. (p<.001) with mean score increasing by 5.59 (95%CI: 4.96, 6.21)
Conclusion and recommendations : The results of this research indicate that developed program was effective. Therefore, relevant agencies should continue to use it.
