Evaluation research for operational training projects and health check According to the risk of occupational health and safety

Abstract

Purpose: To compare knowledge and health examination based on the risk of occupational health and safety , and satisfaction of the training and health examination project.

 Design:  Cross – sectional description research

Materials and Methods: The sample consisted of 50 personnel at Suwannaphum Hospital working at risk of occupational health and safety. The research instruments were  4-part questionnaire 1). general information 2) occupational health hazard prevention knowledge form 3) questionnaire on behavior and health condition from work 4) satisfaction questionnaire. An expert content validity check and a confidence test by Cronbach's Alpha method of knowledge was 0.75, attitude was 0.78 Data were collected using questionnaires, analyzed by descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, standard deviation. And inferential statistics including dependent t-test

Main findings: After the intervention, Personnel have a higher average score of knowledge compared to before development. Statistically significant (p <.001) with an increase in mean score of 1.04 (95% Cl; -1.30, 0.77). The satisfaction with the training was at a high level (Mean =2.73)

Conclusion and recommendations: This study shows that the development of health care according to the occupational health and safety risks has resulted in work readiness of personnel at risk. And prevent the danger that may arise from work.
