The process of Hospital Quality development of Community Hospitals Accreditation in Roi-Et Province

Abstract

Purposes: To develop processes and evaluating process of hospital quality development of community hospitals accreditation in Roi-Et  province.

Design: Research and Development Research.

Materials and methods: The participants were 90 key informants included quality development team. Data were collected by focus group discussion and review of hospital documents. All data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and content analysis. There were two phases of research: Phase I (initiating phase);was the studied of problem state to action plan annual performance report and information of the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization): phase II (implementing phase); developed to processes and operate hospital quality development.

Main findings: The quality development process consists of 4 steps were : 1) study the problem state 2) develop the capacity of the hospital quality development team, 3) carry out driving activities, and 4) evaluate results, lessons and reflect. After the quality development process were carried out in 9 hospitals, 100% were passed the quality of health process accreditation on the Health care Accreditation Institute (Public Organization):

Conclusion and recommendations:  This study indicated that the survey visit by the quality development team organized a learning exchange forum to prepare with mentoring system, thus the hospital personnel had knowledge about hospital quality development standards, and encouraging Resulting in the agency passed quality certification.
