Development of a model for access to Emergency Medical Service of Participated in Myocardial Infarction Patients Phonthong District Network

Abstract

Purpose: To Study the development of a model for access to emergency medical service of  participated in myocardial infarction  patients  though  with  the  participatory of  Phonthong Network.

Study  design : Action research

Material and Methods: The Sample were risk groups of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, public health volunteers and emergency medical responder (EMR) in Phonthong District. The 110 subjects selected by purposive selection data were collected by using questionnaires consisted of knowledge of myocardial infarction Summary from  brainstorming result from, Accidental Situation, Rally, Observation from modified form Rujiwan, Saengloon. Operation period from January to July 2019. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statist ice including percentage, frequency, mean and, standard deviation. Quality data was used to analyze the content.

Main  findings: Model for access to emergency medical service of participated  in  myocardial Infarction Patients 4 steps; 1) health education 2) prepare warning sings 3) implement and 4) evaluate and sharing. The Public health Volunteers and emergency medical responder (EMR) had  knowledge score of Myocardial Infarction were good, skill score for myocardial infarction and resuscitation process was very good, a call from emergency medical service by vulnerable group were few and still a lack of knowledge about the symptoms of  myocardial infarction, and model of access to emergency medical service for myocardial infarction patients, in the gap of EMR, public health volunteers and vulnerable groups.

Conclusion and Recommendations: This research indicated that public health Volunteer, EMR and  Vulnerable groups had knowledge of Myocardial Infarction disease and had practice it in real situations. The groups were awareness and access to emergency medication service. This pattern can be used by the general public, Students to provide vigilance and first aid
