Abstract

Purpose : The development of oral health services and dentures. Study of results and satisfaction after the development of service model in the elderly who received oral and dental care services in Namkhun Hospitals.
Design : Action research
Materials and Methods : The sample consisted of 32 subjects who came to get dental services and dentures at Namkhun Hospital who were derived from a purposive sampling. Data collected were using questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, Chi-square, Fisher's exact test.
Main findings : After intervention, elderly showed an increased habit of oral care with regular brushing (p <.001), increased routine denture removal before bed time (p <.001), avoiding hard and sticky foods and clean your dentures and put them in water regularly, and they were satisfied with the overall service at the highest level.
Conclusion and recommendations: The results of this research contribute to elderly have a habit of oral care and dentures is increasing. Therefore, the relevant departments model should be used in agency.
