Development of Nursing Care for Sepsis Patients System with Collaboration in Multidisciplinary Team, Kaset wisai, Roi-Et

Purposes : To study the situation, develop a system and evaluate results of a system for caring for patients with sepsis patients.
Study design : Mutual collaborative action research.
Materials and Methods : 30 of key informants were sepsis patients during the study the situation period, 30 of related service personnel, and 10 of main responsible persons. Data were collected using patient records and practice assessment forms. The research was conducted from December 2022 to December 2023. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
Main findings : 1) Situation analysis found that problems in management, practice, and support. When analyzing the causes, it was found that most of them were due to delayed access to services (Delay detection), delay diagnosis, delay and inappropriate antibiotic, and delay shock-resuscitation, and interdisciplinary team communication. 2) The system of care for patients with sepsis patients through this participation consists of The developed guidelines consist of 5 parts: assessment of initial condition; Identification of nursing diagnosis, nursing, nursing evaluation. And evaluation of clinical results, and 3) nurses comply with the sepsis protocol guidelines overall at a high level (Mean=4.32, SD.= 0.37)
Conclusion and recommendations : The developed care system can be used as a guideline for caring for patients with sepsis patients, which will result in patients receiving correct care that meets standards, resulting in good results both in Nursing aspects and important clinical outcomes.
