Accessibility of Health Services in Roi Et Province 2015 - 2019

Abstract

Purpose: To study the accessibility of  health services in Roi Et Province 2015-2019

Design:  Descriptive Research

Materials and methods: Collecting data on access to health services in the fiscal year 2015 to fiscal year 2019. Data sources are from the Health Data Center (HDC)

Main findings: The key findings has shown that the number people accessing health  services  at the out-

patient departments (OPD)  is  slightly increased  and  at the in-patient department  (IPD) is potentially increased. Whilst at the dental service department, the service trend is quite down.

                 Accessibility in health promotion and prevention services in each age group, there is a growing trend in maternal and child health services,  antenatal care,  vaccination services for children,  health screening for child development,  health screening in high blood pressure,  diabetes and health screening    in the elderly.

Conclusion and recommendations: To provide access to  health services, adhere to health benefits shall develop and improve dental services by providing service during official hours, proactive service into remote areas and support the budget. As well as the management of human resources capacity by distribution of staffs throughout each area.
