บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการเล่านิทานเสริมกิจกรรมต่อความสามารถทางภาษาของเด็กปฐมวัย โดยศึกษาจากเด็กปฐมวัย อายุ 4-6 ปี ในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กแห่งหนึ่ง จำนวน 30 คน ผู้วิจัยได้ใช้แผนการจัดประสบการณ์โดยใช้การเล่านิทานเสริมกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถทางภาษาสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย จำนวน 8 แผน และเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างทำแบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถทางภาษาก่อน และหลังการฟังนิทานเสริมกิจกรรมวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความสามารถทางภาษาของเด็กปฐมวัยก่อนและหลังการทดลองโดยการทดสอบ paired t-test.
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เด็กมีคะแนนความสามารถทางภาษาเพิ่มขึ้นทุกคน โดยเฉลี่ยแล้วเพิ่มขึ้น 4.64 คะแนน จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่าก่อนการทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 13.33 และหลังการทดลองพบว่า มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 17.97 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบพบว่าเด็กปฐมวัยมีความสามารถทางภาษาสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
Abstract
The purposes of the research were to examine effects of storytelling on elementary language learning ability among children age 4-6 years old. Study participants were 30 preschool children in one daycare center. Eight stories were used to encourage proficiency in learning language. Test of language ability was carried out before and after storytelling. Data were analyzed to obtain means and standard deviations. Comparison of linguistic ability mean scores was done by paired t-test.
The finding was that the children had developed higher language proficiency after the trial. On average, an increase 4.64 points in linguistic ability score was observed after storytelling session, with the mean score increased from 13.33 points before the intervention to 17.97 points p < 0.05).
