การพัฒนาเครือข่ายการพยาบาลทารกแรกเกิดในโรงพยาบาล เครือข่ายจังหวัดสกลนครและเขตรอยต่อ(Network Development of Newborn Nursing Care in Sakon Nakhon Hospital and Its Neighbor Hospitals)

บทคัดย่อ

This action research aimed to investigate the situation of newborn nursing process and networkdevelopment of Sakon Nakhon hospital and its neighbor hospitals. The researchers were 102 health carepersonnels including physicians and nurses who were taking care of 11,983 newborns at Sakon Nakhonhospitals and its neighbor hospitals during October 2008 to September 2010. Data had been collected by usingquestionnaires, participated observation, group discussion, and conference. The data were rechecked for thecompletion and analyzed by using quantitative statistics with frequency and percentage, while qualitativestatistics was a thematic summary. This study attained to the network development of newborn care among the SakonNakhon hospital and its neighbor hospitals. The determination of area and guideline of newborn care was initiated byzoning for newborn care service to decrease number of newborn referring to Sakon Nakhon (central) hospital, andto increase the hospital proficiency. The competency of critical newborn admission in central hospital increasedfrom 81.62% to be 92.06% in 2011, which it was similary higher from 60% to be 84.62% in the networkhospitals. In addition, the newborn care and refering practice guidelines were determined to raise the standardof newborn care and prevent the risks of care. In the meantime, the cooperation among the central and neighborhospitals was originated in terms of consensus of facility management such as medical equipment or deviceusing, human resourse development, for example, academic meetings, job-site learning, rotation of newborn care supervising, knowleadge sharing, as well as, using of nursing care plan. The recommendations occurred from thisstudy were increasing the competency of the network hospitals and the continuation of human resourse development
