ความเท่าทันต่อโรคความดันโลหิตสูงและการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุที่ป่วยด้วย โรคความดันโลหิตสูงในจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน: การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพเพื่ออธิบายเหตุการณ์สำคัญ

การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เพื่อศึกษาความเท่าทันต่อโรคความดันโลหิตสูงและการจัดการตนเองในผู้สูงอายุที่ป่วยด้วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูง ในเขตพื้นที่จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์โดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกึ่งโครงสร้างเกี่ยวกับความเท่าทันต่อโรคความดันโลหิตสูงและการจัดการตนเอง ผู้ให้ข้อมูลจำนวน 14 ราย ตามเกณฑ์การคัดเลือกผู้เข้าร่วมวิจัยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้เทคนิคการวิเคราะห์เหตุการณ์สำคัญ
ผลการวิจัยในมิติของการจัดการตนเองพบว่า ผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่ปฏิบัติตามแผนการดูแลรักษาตามที่บุคลากรสุขภาพหรือผู้ดูแลแนะนำประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับความรุนแรงของโรคความดันโลหิตสูง ช่วยให้ผู้สูงอายุให้ความร่วมมือในการดูแลตนเองอย่างไรก็ตามผู้สูงอายุยังขาดการวางแผนการดูแล การตรวจสอบแผน และการปรับเปลี่ยนวิธีการ ในมิติของความเท่าทันต่อโรคความดันโลหิตสูงพบว่าผู้สูงอายุยังขาดความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโรคที่ตนเองเป็นและการจัดการ ไม่สามารถสอบถามบุคลากรสุขภาพได้เมื่อมีข้อสงสัย โดยมีอุปสรรค ได้แก่ ไม่สามารถเข้าใจข้อมูลที่ซับซ้อน และสภาพร่างกายที่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการเข้าถึง เข้าใจข้อมูล และการจัดการตนเอง ครอบครัวจึงต้องให้การสนับสนุนและความช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุค่อนข้างมาก การมีส่วนร่วมทางอารมณ์และการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมเป็นจุดแข็งของระบบการสนับสนุนการจัดการตนเองที่มีอยู่ในขณะที่การมีส่วนร่วมทางสติปัญญา การมีส่วนร่วมในการวางแผนและตัดสินใจ และการมีส่วนร่วมเชิงพฤติกรรมยังเป็นข้อจำกัดที่จำเป็นต้องได้รับการพัฒนาพยาบาลและบุคลากรสุขภาพควรพัฒนาโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนการจัดการตนเองให้กับผู้สูงอายุที่ป่วยด้วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูง โดยสอดแทรกกระบวนการความเท่าทันต่อโรคความดันโลหิตสูง และให้ผู้ป่วยมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้สูงอายุที่ป่วยด้วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูงจัดการตนเองได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
