Strategy Development and Formation for Consumer Protection in Health Product and Health Service in Uthaithani Province

Abstract

Consumer Health Protection And Public Health Pharmaceutical Group Uthaithani Provincial Health Office plays a role in controlling health products and health service, takes legal actions, security surveillance and supports operation of networks. Before 2012, the operation could not be covered every mission. It is focused only on surveillance monitoring, controlling and taking legal action against entrepreneurs. The objectives of the study is to develop and form strategy for consumer protection in health product and health service in Uthaithani province by using Strategic Route Map : SRM.


Consumer protection strategy in health product and health service caused Consumer Health Protection And Public Health Pharmaceutical Group Uthaithani Provincial Health Office to review its vision, mission and strategy that made the connection between the aims of organizational strategy and the stakeholder. This caused the operation more concerning about the stakeholder and network such as consumer, network and entrepreneur.


            Strategic Route Map process caused Consumer Health Protection And Public Health Pharmaceutical Group Uthaithani Provincial Health Office had the systems including  1) Strategic management system  for gathering visions, missions and strategies that made the connection the aims of organizational strategy government, private sector, and local organization which communicated to stakeholders and personel, for improvement of  daily work in the same direction. 2) Planning and monitoring strategic progress system (process) by using many aspect process indicators. 3) Tracking the success of strategic system by using performance for the right decision of process improvement that leaded to set up the bud jet. The process of building and using Strategic Route Map lead to directed the new  job that coverage all mission, expectially supporting the participation of networks and communities  that cause consumer protection in health product and health service of Uthaithani Provincial Health Office is continuous and sustainable.
