Effects of Support and Psychoeducational Group Program (SPGP) on Caregiving Burden among Parents of Autistic Children in Rajanagarindra Institute of Child Development, Chiang-Mai

Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการทำกลุ่มประคับประคองและจิตศึกษาต่อภาระการดูแลของผู้ ปกครองเด็กออทิสติก คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ปกครองเด็กออทิสติกตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนด จำนวน 32 ราย จัดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการจับคู่ ตามเพศ ระดับคะแนนภาระการดูแล และระยะเวลาในการดูแลเด็กออทิสติก แบ่งเข้ากลุ่มทดลองกับกลุ่มควบคุมจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย ให้เข้ากลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มละ 16 คน โดยกลุ่มทดลองได้เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการทำกลุ่มประคับประคองและจิตศึกษา กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วน ส่วนที่ 1 ประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล และแบบประเมินภาระการดูแลเด็กออทิสติก ส่วนที่ 2 เป็นเครื่องมือดำาเนินการวิจัย ได้แก่โปรแกรมการทำกลุ่มประคับประคองและจิตศึกษา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการวิเคราะห์ ความแปรปรวนแบบมีการวัดซำสองทาง (two-way repeated measures analysis of variance) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาระการดูแลของผู้ปกครองเด็กออทิสติกหลัง
เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมฯ ในกลุ่มทดลองระยะติดตามผลทันที และระยะติดตามผล 1 เดือน น้อยกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .05 และภาระการดูแลของผู้ปกครองเด็กออทิสติกที่ได้เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมฯ ระยะติดตามผลทันที และระยะติดตามผล 1 เดือนน้อยกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of the Support and Psychoeducational
Group Program on caregiver’s burden. Thirty-two subjects who metinclusion criteria were
purposively selected and assigned to experimental group and control group: sixteen persons per each group. The experimental group received the Support and Psychoeducational Group Program where as the control group received routine nursing care. Research instrument consisted of two parts including 1) instruments for collecting data:demo graphic data and Caregiver Burden Questionnaire, 2) instrument for conducting research: the Support and Psychoeducational Group Program. Data were analyzed by using descriptivest at istics, and two- way repeated measures analysis of variance. The results of this study revealed that after the caregivers of autistic children received the Support and Psychoeducational Group Program, they had statistically significant lower burden scores than those of before (p < .01).Caregivers of autistic children in the experimental group had lower burden scoresst at istically significant than those of the control group (p < .05).
