ความคืบหน้าการวิจัยในการรักษาข้อเข่าอักเสบที่เกิดจากกระดูกข้อเข่าเสื่อมด้วยวิธีการฝังเข็ม

บทคัดย่อ
โรคข้อเข่าเสื่อม (knee osteoarthritis, KOA) โดยเฉพาะการเสื่อมของกระดูกเข่าทำให้เกิดการอักเสบ พบได้บ่อยในวัยกลางคนและผู้สูงอายุ มีอาการทางคลินิกหลัก คืออาการปวดเรื้อรังจากการเคลื่อนไหว ปวดตอนกลางคืนหรือตอนเช้า การยืดงอได้อย่างจำกัด ซึ่งส่งผลต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วย ทางการแพทย์แผนตะวันตกจะเน้นรักษาด้วยยา การผ่าตัดส่องกล้อง การฉีด sodium hyaluronate ในโพรงข้อต่อเข่าเป็นหลัก ส่วนทางการแพทย์แผนจีนมีวิธีการรักษาที่หลากหลาย แต่ที่นิยมใช้มากที่สุดคือการฝังเข็มควบคู่กับวิธีการอื่นๆ โดยมีหลักฐานงานวิจัยมากมายที่สนับสนุนว่าการฝังเข็มมีประโยชน์ในการรักษาโรคข้อเข่าอักเสบที่เกิดจากกระดูกข้อเข่าเสื่อม การฝังเข็มจึงอาจเป็นทางเลือกในผู้ป่วยรายที่ปฏิเสธการผ่าตัดและการทานยา คณะผู้จัดทำจึงสนใจทำการค้นคว้าวิจัยและรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการรักษาโรคข้อเข่าอักเสบที่เกิดจากกระดูกข้อเข่าเสื่อมโดยใช้การฝังเข็มควบคู่กับการรักษาด้วยวิธีต่างๆ ที่นิยมใช้ในปัจจุบัน เช่น การฝังเข็มเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ใช้หลักการของจุดสะท้อน (阳性反应) การฝังเข็มกระตุ้นไฟฟ้า การฝังเข็มอุ่น การฝังเข็มอุ่นร่วมกับการกระตุ้นไฟฟ้า การฝังเข็มร่วมกับการทุยหนา การฝังเข็มร่วมกับการอบยาจีน การฝังเข็มลนไฟ และการฝังเข็มร่วมกับวิธีการรักษาอื่นๆ
