Research advance in treating cervical spondylosis with acupuncture and tuina massage
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is a common clinical condition in Thailand. The number of patients is continuously increasing due to the changing lifestyle which is becoming more dependent on electronic devices and less exercise, affecting the patient's quality of life. The general management in the early stages involves symptomatic treatment and avoiding surgical intervention. Traditional Chinese medicine usually applies acupuncture and Tuina massage treatment to alleviate the symptoms. This research collected data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure website (CNKI) for a period not exceeding 10 years. The research results show that acupuncture treatment and tuina massage can effectively treat the clinical symptoms.
