Utilization of Miniscrew Implant in Orthodontic Treatment

Abstract

Proper anchorage preparation is essential in orthodontic treatment. The common problem of anchorage preparation in orthodontic treatment is no adequate support for desire tooth movement. Using of miniscrew has been introduced in orthodontic application to obtain direct or indirect anchorage. The objectives of this review is to clearly define classification of miniscrew property, designs of head and thread, application in clinical orthodontic and complications.
