ประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมการจัดการอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลีย ในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคอง

บทคัดย่อ

          ภูมิหลัง: ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคองมักมีอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลีย ส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยไม่สามารถทำกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ได้ตามปกติและมีคุณภาพชีวิตลดลง วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อเปรียบเทียบอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียก่อนและหลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมการจัดการอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียและความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคอง วิธีการ: รูปแบบการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียววัดผลก่อน-หลัง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคองที่นอนพักรักษาอาการในหอผู้ป่วยพุทธรักษา โรงพยาบาลมะเร็งลพบุรี โดยเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงที่มีระดับ PPS ≥ ร้อยละ 50 จำนวน 15 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วน 1) แบบประเมินวัดคะแนนอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียโดยประยุกต์จากแบบประเมิน ESAS และ 2) โปรแกรมการจัดการอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคองโดยประยุกต์จากสมาธิบำบัด SKT ท่าที่ 1 และท่าที่ 7 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพรรณนา และเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยสองกลุ่มไม่อิสระต่อกัน ด้วยสถิติ Paired Samples t-test เพื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียก่อนและหลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม ผล: กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลีย ก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมเท่ากับ 4.87±2 และหลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมเท่ากับ 1.67±1.76  แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<0.001) และมีความพึงพอใจต่อโปรแกรมในระดับมาก (mean=2.95, SD=0.21) สรุป: โปรแกรมการจัดการอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะประคับประคอง สามารถลดอาการอ่อนล้าอ่อนเพลียได้อย่างมีประสิทธิผล
