Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word only.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Write the references in Vancouver style and entirely in English, with no more than 25 references.
  • Images in the article must not be copyrighted. (If they are copyrighted, the author is responsible. The journal will not be held liable in any case.)

Author Guidelines

Guidelines for Submitting Articles for Publication

The Cancer Journal welcomes the submission of academic articles or interesting stories related to cancer for consideration for publication in this journal. Articles published will be reviewed by experts in the relevant field. Articles published in this journal are considered the intellectual property of the Cancer Journal and represent the academic work or research of the authors, not the opinions of the editors or publishers. Authors are requested to submit correctly prepared manuscripts according to the guidelines in this document to the editorial board of the Cancer Journal through the online journal system (ThaiJo).

Original Articles
It is a research study report, which must include the following components: Title, Authors, Affiliation/Workplace, Abstract and Keywords in both Thai and English, Introduction, Research Methodology, Results, Discussion and Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), References. The length of the content should not exceed 16 pages.

Review Articles
It is a compilation, analysis, and synthesis of a particular topic to provide readers with knowledge and understanding about the latest developments on that topic in the current context. It includes the following components: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Conclusion and References.

Case Report
It is a study report based on an unusual patient, a disease or syndrome that is rarely encountered or has never been seen before, or a disease with atypical characteristics or progression. The report should include a summary and provide recommendations for potential applications. It should consist of the following sections: Introduction, Patient Report, Critique, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References.
