Guidelines for The Environmental Impact Assessment of the Industrial Sector for Sustainable Growth

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study and to develop a structural equation model for the Guidelines for The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of The Industrial Sector For Sustainable Growth. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were employed in this study. The quantitative data were obtained from the survey of 500 business executives or persons responsible for the EIA report. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, reference statistics, and multiple statistics.
The results of the research showed that Important elements of the Guidelines for The Environmental Impact Assessment of the Industrial Sector for Sustainable Growth are Comprising of Law including the assessment should cover public health study appear in the EIA report, EIA report-consulting company including the consulting company should be experienced and expertise, Resource including the business should have environmental specialists who have experience and expertise in environment, and Community including the business should inform corrective actions to the affected people or communities. The hypothesis testing found that the business located in an industrial estate and the business located outside an industrial estate gave no-different importance to the strategic environmental impact assessment with statistical significance at 0.05.
The analysis of the structural equation model had value over the minimum criteria and was consistent with the empirical data by Chi-square probability Level was 0.127, Relative Chi-square was 1.163, Goodness of fit index was 0.972, and Root mean square error of approximation was 0.018.
