The Appropriation of Chemical and Physical Health Risk Examination of Establishment in Rayong Province and Details of the Result Reporting to Labor Inspector

Abstract

The study was a cross-sectional descriptive study. The objective was to study the appropriation of health examination for employee. The factor of chemical health risk and physical health risk were included to this study in the establishments around Rayong province. Subjects were the health examination report of the establishments around Rayong province between 2012-2014 which was submitted to the Labor Inspector. The data was analyzed by to compare the way to examine of the establishments with the international standard health examination. The result found that there were 110 establishments examining the employees’ health risk using neither national nor international standard chemical examination. They were 0.9 – 8.2 %. About the physical health risk, the establishments reported only the result of the employees who are disorder. In conclusion, the establishments’ health risk examination reports of the employees were appropriate for the law, but they were not appropriate for academic and international standardization. The suggestions for this study were the establishments should choose the lists of chemical that had standard or guideline for examination.
