การทำงานในแรงงานสูงอายุ

การเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างประชากรโลกส่งผลให้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างของตลาดแรงงาน โดยมีแรงงานสูงอายุเพิ่มสูงมากขึ้น ซึ่งมีความแตกต่างจากวัยอื่นๆในหลายด้าน จึงจำเป็นต้องมีการศึกษาเพิ่มเติม เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลประกอบการส่งเสริมให้แรงงานสูงอายุสามารถทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดและมีความปลอดภัย
วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อทบทวนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับ (1) นิยามของแรงงานสูงอายุ (2) ลักษณะทั่วไปของแรงงานสูงอายุ (3) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการทำงานในแรงงานสูงอายุ (4) คำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับแรงงานสูงอายุ
ผลการศึกษา : มีการให้นิยามแรงงานสูงอายุที่แตกต่างกันออกไป โดยควรมีการประเมินทั้งอายุตามปฏิทิน ร่วมกับอายุชีวภาพ โดยแรงงานสูงอายุเป็นแรงงานที่มีลักษณะต่างออกไปจากกลุ่มวัยอื่นๆ มีแนวโน้มการเกิดอุบัติเหตุที่รุนแรงมากกว่าวัยอื่นๆ มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงสรีรวิทยาที่อาจส่งผลต่อการทำงาน เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงของระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด ระบบทางเดินหายใจ และระบบโครงกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อที่อาจส่งผลต่อการทำงานที่ต้องใช้แรงงานมากหรือการทำงานในภาวะที่อากาศร้อนหรือหนาวมาก การเปลี่ยนแปลงของระบบประสาทโดยทั่วไป การมองเห็นและการทำงานของระบบโครงกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อที่อาจส่งผลต่อการขับรถ การเปลี่ยนแปลงของการได้ยินที่อาจส่งผลต่อการรับรู้เสียงหรือสัญญาณเตือน การเปลี่ยนแปลงของการนอนหลับซึ่งอาจส่งผลต่อการเข้ากะการทำงานกลางคืน รวมถึงการมีโรคประจำตัวหรือภาวะทางสุขภาพต่างๆ ซึ่งอาจส่งผลต่อลักษณะงานเช่นเดียวกัน ในส่วนของปัจจัยต่างๆที่อาจส่งผลต่อการทำงาน เช่น ความสามารถในการปฏิบัติงาน การมีการสนับสนุนทรัพยากรในงาน และการตัดสินใจเกษียณอายุ จากการเปลี่ยนแปลงข้างต้นควรมีนโยบายต่างๆ เพื่อรองรับการทำงานในแรงงานสูงอายุทั้งจากรัฐบาล รวมถึงสถานประกอบการที่รับแรงงานสูงอายุเข้าทำงาน เพื่อให้แรงงานสูงอายุสามารถทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและปลอดภัย โดยอาจมีความจำเป็นต้องมีการปรับลักษณะงานให้เหมาะสมกับลักษณะแรงงานสูงอายุแต่ละคน เนื่องจากแรงงานสูงอายุแต่ละคนมีความแตกต่างกัน
สรุป : แรงงานสูงอายุมีลักษณะที่แตกต่างจากแรงงานวัยอื่นๆ จึงควรมีการประเมินลักษณะงานที่เหมาะสมต่อแรงงานสูงอายุ รวมไปถึงจำเป็นต้องมีการปรับลักษณะงานให้เหมาะกับลักษณะแรงงานสูงอายุแต่ละคน เพื่อการทำงานที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด ซึ่งจะส่งผลดีต่อแรงงานสูงอายุและตลาดแรงงาน นอกจากนี้จำเป็นต้องมีนโยบายต่างๆ เพื่อรองรับแรงงานสูงอายุที่จะมีปริมาณมากขึ้นในอนาคต
