Results of Hospital Development by Organization Diagnosis Tool (Nine Cells) in Chaophya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital

Abstract

     The aim of this developmental research was to investigate the issues of hospital development by organization diagnostic tool (Nine Cells), together with continuous improvement for 3 years. The first diagnosis (2015) found that the organization goal was not clear. Therefore, the hospital strategic plan was formulated by the staff involvement. The organization’s second diagnosis (2016) found that the individual goal was not clear or appropriate. Then, the improvement of personnel management was done by guidelines based on department and hospital level indicators. The results of the third diagnosis (2517) found that the goals at all levels were clear but the administration in all level was also needed to be improved further. In conclusion, organization diagnosis tool (Nine Cells) is considered as a tool to identify developmental issues for Thai hospitals.
