Abstract

Abstract

          This study was cross-sectional descriptive research. The purpose was to study the difference quality of life in Saint Louis College. The 256 samples were 1st-4th year students from nursing faculty, physical therapy, and psychology, academic year 2019 in Saint Louis College. The samples were selected by multi-stage sampling.  The research instrument was questionnaire consisting of personal data, and quality of life of students. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA and Least significant difference (LSD)

The results indicated that the overall quality of life of the 1st-4th year students at a high level with an average score of 3.90 (S.D. = .36). The social relations was the highest average score of 4.29 (S.D.=.47) and environmental quality of life was the lowest average score of 3.40 (S.D. = .44). Nursing students had the highest overall quality of life, the average score was 3.94 (S.D. =.33). The quality of life by aspect and overall of students classified by year was the statistically significant level of .05. Except the quality of life in the environment that there is no difference. Multiple comparision test found that the overall quality of life of the 1st-4th year students were 2 pairs of differences, namely 2nd year students with 4th year students, and 3rd year students with 4th year students.

This study suggests that administrators, faculty and related personnel should consider and improve the environment within the institution in order to improve the quality of life of students especially the 4th year students.
