Development of a model for promoting dental health in Yala child development Center

Abstract

  This study is a descriptive study aimed at studying the development of a model  forpromoting  dental health in Yala  Child  Development Center and evaluating themodel  for promoting  dental health  at Yala  in Banseiyo Child Development Center ,Bangoisinae Sub-district, Yaha District, Yala province ,population used in the study  87 people.Evaluated by oral health examination results for the plaque levels  of  children before and after the development of the model in the Child Development Center    analyzed the data using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and pair t-test and synthesized in-depth interviews.

          Research shows that pre-development the plaque levels were high with an average of  2.00  post-development the plaque levels were low with an average of0.99. Which had a statistically significant decrease (p value < 0.001). Synthesizing the development of the model  for promoting  dental health in Yala  Child Development Center, it was found that the model that affects the reduction of  plaque is personnel management by increasing the capacity of teachers,parent.nutritionists management must be nutritious and conducive to dental health every day, Oral health care with a comprehensive dental health promotion, high-risk children  received oral examinations and fluoride vanish twice a semester by dental staff , tooth decay prevention have a  clear policies and actionplans, the referral system to receive dental treatment services has a clear system ,developing and learning by age have sufficient media and continuous dental health teaching, internal and external environment management that are conducive to dental health, community participation and network partners are involved in all sectors. The budget is sufficient.
