Needs and Satisfaction of the Quality of Graduates from the Community Public Health Program, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Suphanburi*

This descriptive research aimed to examine the needs and user satisfaction on quality of graduates from the Community Public Health Program, Sirindhorn College of Public Health Suphanburi. According to the six aspects of learning outcomes, the participants were recruited from two groups of users which included 144 supervisors and their colleagues, and 135 people/patients with health services provided by graduates. The needs and user satisfaction questionnaire showed the content validity at an appropriated level which IOC is between 0.67 and 1.00. The statistical analysis was percentage, mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, and paired t-test. Results of user needs and satisfaction revealed as follows:
- The needs and user satisfaction on quality of graduates on six aspects of learning outcomes showed perceptions at the agreed to the strongly agreed level. The overall of all aspects was at a high level.
- The mean scores of the needs and quality of graduates according to all aspects of learning outcomes from supervisors and their colleagues were significantly difference at the 0.05 level, whereas only four aspects of learning outcomes from a group of people/patients were significantly difference at the 0.05 level.
- The perceived quality of graduates did not meet expectations on each aspect and the overall aspects of learning outcomes from supervisors, colleagues and people/
- The suggestions from supervisors and their colleagues for improving of the curriculum associated with graduate competencies in terms of knowledge and skills in operation entering the workforce, whereas health care services, humanized care and behaviors of graduates were important for a group of people/patients.
Moreover, organization engagement should play an important role to support public health learners during their educational process for improving teaching efficiency on ethics, discipline, work responsibilities, collaborative working, curriculum competencies for quality of graduates and desirable outcomes.
