Privacy Policy Statement

The Journal of Health Innovation and Safety (Journal of Health Innovation and Safety; JHIS) places the highest importance on the protection of personal data of all its users. To ensure full compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA) and the Computer-Related Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), as amended by the Computer-Related Crime Act (No. 2) B.E. 2560 (2017), the Editorial Board hereby discloses its policy on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data as follows.

Article 1: Purpose of Personal Data Collection

• Personal data provided by authors and contributors to the journal — including, but not limited to, full name, academic title, institutional affiliation, and email address — shall be collected and used solely for purposes directly related to the academic journal's operations, as follows:
  • To facilitate communication throughout all stages of the Peer Review Process
    To identify and credit the author(s) and co-author(s) in all published articles
    To compile and maintain the journal's indexes and academic databases
    To disseminate news, announcements, and activities directly related to the journal's operations

Article 2: Confidentiality and Disclosure of Personal Data

• The Editorial Board hereby affirms that your personal data shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for any purpose beyond those specified in Article 1. In this regard, the journal guarantees the following:
• • Personal data shall not be used for commercial activities, marketing purposes, or any form of commercial benefit whatsoever.
    Personal data shall not be disclosed to any external individuals, organizations, or agencies, except where required by a legally binding court order or as mandated by applicable laws and regulations.
    All journal personnel involved in data processing are strictly bound by confidentiality obligations and shall not disclose personal data without authorization.

Article 3: Data Security Measures

• As a Data Controller under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), the journal has implemented appropriate and standardized security measures to prevent unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure of personal data. These measures are consistent with established information security standards and are designed to prevent computer-related offenses in all forms.

Article 4: Expression of Consent and Rights of Data Subjects

            4.1 Expression of Consent

• • The submission of an article or registration into the journal's system shall constitute an explicit expression of consent, confirming that the author has acknowledged, fully understood, and unconditionally accepted this Personal Data Protection Policy.

            4.2 Rights of Data Subjects

• • As a data subject, you are entitled to the following rights under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) :
    • Right of Access — The right to request a copy of and to inspect your personal data held by the journal
    • Right of Rectification — The right to request the correction of any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete
    • Right of Erasure — The right to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data once the purpose for collection has been fulfilled or when the conditions prescribed by law have been met
    • Right to Withdraw Consent — The right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to such withdrawal
    • Right to Object — The right to object to the processing of your personal data in cases prescribed by law
