A ปัจจัยทางครอบครัวและพฤติกรรมที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะน้ำหนักเกินและโรคอ้วนในเด็กวัยรุ่นหนุ่มสาวที่อาศัยอยู่ในเขตเทศบาลตำบลปง อำเภอปง จังหวัดพะเยา

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยทางครอบครัวและพฤติกรรมในชีวิตประจำวันที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะน้ำหนักเกินและโรคอ้วน ใช้การวิจัยในลักษณะผสมผสานวิธีระหว่างการศึกษาแบบภาคตัดขวางและการเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพด้วยวิธีสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ใช้ครอบครัวเป็นหน่วยศึกษาและสมาชิกในครอบครัวเป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ เครื่องชั่งน้ำหนักและวัดส่วนสูง แบบสอบถามชนิดมีโครงสร้างและกึ่งโครงสร้าง ผลวิจัยพบว่า เด็กที่มีภาวะน้ำหนักเกินและโรคอ้วนจำนวน 136 คน (38.6%) ปัจจัยที่เป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงต่อภาวะน้ำหนักเกินและโรคอ้วนได้แก่ เด็กที่กำลังเรียนหนังสือ อยู่ในครอบครัวเดี่ยว ครอบครัวที่มีรายได้ไม่พอใช้จ่ายต่อเดือน พฤติกรรมการรับประทานอาหารระหว่างมื้อและในขณะดูทีวี รับประทานขนมและเครื่องดื่มผลิตภัณฑ์จากนมและน้ำตาล น้ำอัดลม พฤติกรรมเนือยนิ่งและขาดการออกกำลังกาย ผลการวิจัยนี้ ช่วยให้ทำความเข้าใจในปัจจัยที่เสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะน้ำหนักเกินและโรคอ้วน เป็นข้อพิจารณากำหนดมาตรการในการปรับหรือเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีการใช้ชีวิตของเด็กวัยรุ่นที่เสี่ยงต่อโรค
