Abstract

This article aims to propose the thinking process and teaching methods for nursing students who practice in the nursing practicum course. The authors suggest the sample of teaching methods to promote the integrative thinking of nursing students in the practicum course by using the mixed method of nursing care study and concept mapping. The concept mapping includes the result of history taking, physical examination, laboratory test, special examinations and nursing care plan. Contents of this article are useful for nursing instructors and nursing students to apply for collecting data, develop nursing care plan and perform nursing practice to improve teaching methods in the nursing practicum course and to enhance the quality of nursing care for the patients.
