The objectives of this study were to evaluate health status of people in Health Region 9 by using 13 indicators and to compare the results with Health Data Center (HDC). During October 2014 -March 2015, a cross-sectional survey by multi-stage cluster sampling was done in 88 districts of 4 provinces in Health Region 9. Data were collected by health personel using standard method and analyzed by descriptive statistics which include frequency and percentage. The results from survey did not reach the target in many indicators. To compare with HDC in 10 indicators, there were 6 indicators that had different result more than 10 percent. So the data obtained from the survey were quite different from HDC and survey should be done in some important indicators.
