Sixty-four female nursing students with dysmenorrheal pain were recruited as the samples by a purposively criteria and then randomly assigned into an experimental group and a control group, each group were 32 samples which assigned by simple random sampling. The experimental group was assigned to consume regular meal in general at the 1st menstrual period and received dietary program during the 2nd and 3rd menstrual periods.  The control group was assigned to consume regular meal in general during the 1st 2nd and 3rd menstrual periods. The research instruments consisted of demographic data form, visual pain rating scale, and dysmenorrheal discomforts questionnaires. Data were analyzed by independent t-test and repeated measure of ANOVA.

The results of this study revealed that. The average scores of dysmenorrheal pain and menstrual discomfort among experimental group were lower than control group significantly (p<.001) and (p<.001).The means scores of dysmenorrheal pain and menstrual discomfort among experimental group after consumed dietary program were lower than before consumed dietary program as significantly (p<.05) and (p<.05). The means scores of dysmenorrheal pain and menstrual discomfort among control group before and after experiment were not difference. This study can be used as a guideline for reproductive women who suffer from dysmenorrheal and discomfort symptoms during the menstruation period
