Abstract

The following research is descriptive in nature. It has as its purpose the study and analysis of the quality of life and ministry of the Klongtey Church (Sukhumvit 93), based on the Scriptures and Christian theology. A total of 52 church members, comprised of the session members, women, men, the young adults, the youths, and the group of member who hardly join church activities, make up the sample population in this research. The facts were gathering using researched paperwork, survey questionnaire, group discussion and interviews.

The finding of the research shows that the Klongtoey Church (Sukhumvit 93) is a community of believers in Jesus Christ whose characteristics are in accordance with both the biblical doctrines and the ecclesiastical description of what the church is meant to be. The Klongtoey Church maintains her five main ministries: (i.e., fellowship, discipleship, worship, evangelism, and social services). Nevertheless, the church should put a stronger emphasis on the Word of God as a fundamental basis in the life of her members on the one hand and cultivate and nurture the community to grow with a deeper and firmer faith in the Lord on the other. The reason is because both are the key factors in driving the church life and ministries towards either the strength or weakness of all kinds of church life and ministries. In addition, the significance of these two key factors is that they help each individual believer find and develop his/her potentialities as well as supporting him/her to be able to serve out of the best of his/her gifts and abilities. The Klongtey Church should constructively have a process of building up her members to be strong in serving each other and drives the church towards her goal together competently, consistently, and productively.
