The Roles of Social Capital for Creative Youth Development
Abstract
The objectives of this research were to propose roles of appropriate social capital for creative youth development. To accomplish the objectives, the mixed method approach of data collection and analysis were selected. In the qualitative study, it was taken on the populations by purposive sampling of 22 people from different sectors such as family institution, religious institution, educational institution, community, public sectors, mass media groups, and youth groups and private sectors whose duty is to develop the youths. The 400 populations used in the quantitative study were also from the same groups. The tool for data collection of the qualitative study was in-depth interview and analyze the data by analytic induction. The tool for data collection of the quantitative study was a questionnaire. The statistical analysis of the data was mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, Pearson Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression.
