Learning Achievement of Fundamental Mathematics Using Multimedia of Students at Christian University of Thailand

Abstract

          In our study, Learning Achievement  of Fundamental Mathematics  Using    Multimedia  of Students at Christian University of Thailand is considered. There are 3 objectives ; to develop the teaching method via multimedia in Fundamental Mathematics, to study Learning Achievement  of Fundamental Mathematics Using    Multimedia  , and to study the satisfication of the students in this course.

          The 49 students of our sample in this study are the undergraduate students of Christian university, Nakhonpathom, which failed the Fundamental Mathematics  Examination and enrolled this course in semester 3/55 . The tools in this study are 10 teaching plans, Fundamental Quizs composed of the first 10 - item quiz (choice) and the second 10 - item quiz (choice), the achievement test of Fundamental Mathematics composed of Midterm exam with 35 - item exam and 2 - item writtenexam, final exam composed of 35 - item exam and 3 - item written exam and the satisfication questionnaire of the students in Fundamental Mathematics course via 10 - item multimedia and  the multimedia compose of the activity sheets, e-learning program and the recorded VDO Fundamental  Mathematics. Z - test is used to analyze our data for Population Proportion.

          The results of this study are

          1. The Students in fundamental Mathematics course with multimedia can pass the exam more than 60.00 percentage with the significant at 0.05 .

          2. The average score for the satisfication of 49 samples was 3.99 points or 79.80% and the S.D. score is 0.442 points. This performed in the high level of satisfication.
