Absorptive Capacity : Learning Ability Based on Open Innovation Perspective

Abstract

          This article presents a concept analysis of absorptive capacity. I propose that absorptive capacity is mediator variable of innovation capability, competitive advantage or organizational performance. This article presentation included 1) absorptive capacity models 2) A causal relationship model and 3) Outcome of integrative literature review. The substances of this article indicated both distinctive and weak points of each absorptive capacity models. Moreover, the results of this concept analysis suggest body of knowledge and gaps of  knowledge in absorptive capacity concept.
