ผลของโปรแกรมการฝึกการทรงตัวแบบกลุ่มเพื่อลดภาวะกลัวการล้มสำหรับ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเบาหวาน: การศึกษานำร่อง

บทคัดย่อ

          ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเบาหวานมีความเสี่ยงต่อการหกล้มเพิ่มขึ้น เป็นสาเหตุสำคัญทำให้เกิดภาวะกลัวการล้มตามมา การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการฝึกการทรงตัวแบบกลุ่มต่อภาวะกลัวการล้มของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเบาหวาน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เช่น ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเบาหวาน จำนวน 8 คน สุ่มแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มได้รับโปรแกรมฝึกการทรงตัวแบบกลุ่ม จำนวน 4 คน และกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการออกกำลังกายแบบแอโรบิกด้วยยางยืด จำนวน 4 คน กลุ่มฝึกการทรงตัวได้รับโปรแกรมฝึกการทรงตัวแบบกลุ่ม ในขณะที่กลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการออกกำลังกายแบบแอโรบิกด้วยยางยืด ภาวะกลัวการล้มประเมินด้วยแบบประเมินภาวะกลัวการล้มในผู้สูงอายุไทย ก่อนการฝึกและหลังการฝึกในสัปดาห์ที่ 4 ผลการวิจัยพบว่าภายหลังการออกกำลังกายเป็นระยะเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ กลุ่มที่ได้รับโปรแกรมการฝึกการทรงตัวแบบกลุ่มมีภาวะกลัวการล้มลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญจากการประเมินโดยแบบประเมินภาวะกลัวการล้มในผู้สูงอายุไทยเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มควบคุม (p<0.05) โปรแกรมการออกกำลังกายแบบกลุ่มเพื่อฝึกการทรงตัวของงานวิจัยนี้สามารถลดภาวะกลัวการล้มของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะเบาหวานในการฝึก 4 สัปดาห์
