Effects of breastfeeding empowerment program on maternal with preterm infants in department of pediatric 1-2 at Sumprasithiprasong Hospital Ubon Ratchathani.

Objectives: This research was to study the effects of breastfeeding empowerment program on maternal with preterm infants in department of pediatric 1-2 at Sumprasithiprasong Hospital. Ubon Ratchathani.
Design: Quasi-experimental research
Methods: The subjects consisted of 30 maternal with preterm who were admitted into the department of pediatric 1-2 at Sumprasithiprasong Hospital Ubon Rachathani. The research instruments were: the breastfeeding empowerment program on maternal with preterm infants. and the breastfeeding self-efficacy questionnaire of maternal with preterm infants. Cronbach’s alpha coefficiency score of .92, 0.92. Data were statisticaly including frequencies, percentages, standard deviations and pair t-test
Results: Breastfeeding empowerment program on maternal with preterm infants after received program were significantly higher level of empowerment (p<.05)
Conclusion: These finding indicate that the empowerment program on maternal with preterm infants in department of pediatric 1-2 at Sumprasithiprasong Hospital Ubon Ratchathani increase breastfeeding on maternal with preterm infants.
