Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • -The manuscript must not be under consideration by any other journal and must not have been previously published.

    -The manuscript should 7-12 pages, excluding references.
  • Abstract

    -The abstract should include the following components:

    -Purpose of the study

    -Research design

    -Sample or participants

    -Research instruments

    -Results

    -Conclusion
  • Research Instruments



    Data Collection Instruments: Specify the type of instrument (e.g., questionnaire), the developer or source, the number of items/questions, and provide information on reliability and validity.



    Experimental Instruments: Describe the main components or features of the instrument clearly, highlighting its essential elements relevant to the study.

  • Results

    Present the research findings in accordance with the research objectives.

    For quantitative studies, organize and present the results in tables where appropriate.
  • References



    -References must follow the Vancouver style.



    -References should be up-to-date and not exceed 18 sources.

  • Thesis-Based Manuscripts

    If the manuscript is derived from a thesis, it must have been reviewed and approved by the thesis advisor(s) prior to submission.

Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts
Journal of Nursing Research, Innovation, and Health (Updated December 2022)

The Journal of Nursing Research, Innovation, and Health is an academic journal dedicated to publishing scholarly articles in nursing and health sciences. All submitted manuscripts undergo a Double-Blind Review process by three expert reviewers.

The editorial board cordially invites members and interested authors to submit academic articles and research papers for publication. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

The editorial board reserves the right to review and edit manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s guidelines and formatting requirements. Articles accepted for publication shall become the copyright of the Journal of Nursing Research, Innovation, and Health. Upon acceptance for publication, authors are required to maintain journal membership for a period of two years.

To ensure the quality of manuscripts, the editorial board utilizes QuillBot and Turnitin to assist with language review, paraphrasing, and plagiarism detection.

Manuscript Preparation

1. Article Components
1.1 Title in Thai
1.2 Author names in Thai, listed under the title. Indicate the affiliation of the first author below the name, with positions provided as footnotes (see examples in the journal).
1.3 Abstract in Thai (≤ 250 words) including: purpose, research design, methods (sample, instrument, data collection, analysis), results, and conclusion.
1.4 Abstract in English including: title, author names, purpose, design, methods (sample, instrument, data collection, statistical analysis), results, conclusion. Include all authors’ affiliations, corresponding author, and email address.
1.5 Keywords: 3–5 keywords in both Thai and English, separated by slashes (/).
1.6 Main Text should include:

  • Introduction: background, significance, conceptual framework (text/figure), and research objectives.

  • Methods: research design, population/sample, instruments and validation, ethical considerations, data collection, and analysis.

  • Results: present findings clearly, use tables or figures when necessary.

  • Discussion: interpret findings, relate to hypotheses, concepts, or theories, and reference other research appropriately.

  • Recommendations: practical implications and suggestions for future research.

  • Acknowledgments (if any): funding sources or individuals to thank, concise and clear.

  • References: use Vancouver style, up to 18 references, all in English. Thai references should be translated into English with “[In Thai]” at the end.

 

Manuscript Formatting

  1. Prepare manuscripts in MS Word for Windows, font Cordia New, size 16, single-spaced, on A4 paper, 7–13 pages (excluding references). Leave 1-inch margins all around and number all pages.

  2. Headings: main headings flush left; subheadings indented by 4 characters; same-level subheadings aligned.

  3. Numbers, abbreviations, parentheses: use Arabic numerals; abbreviations must be standard, spelled out on first use; English parentheses, e.g., WHO(World Health Organization).

 

References

  • Use Vancouver style.

  • Number references sequentially in the text (superscript).

  • Compile all references at the end of the manuscript.

  • All references must be in English. Thai references should be transliterated into English and followed by “[In Thai]”.

Submission and Review Process

  1. Authors submit manuscripts via the journal’s online system: https://www.tcithaijo.org/index.php/CUNS

  2. Manuscripts must comply with the journal’s template, including article components and references. The Editorial Board will request revisions if the template is not followed.

  3. Manuscripts that meet the template requirements will be sent to three qualified reviewers for evaluation. The review process typically takes approximately 3-4 weeks, after which authors will be notified of the decision.

  4. Accepted manuscripts require payment of publication fees and journal membership according to the journal’s regulations.
