Abstract

Purpose: The study aimed to evaluate the Bachelor of Nursing Science Curriculum (Revised in 2012) of the Mission Faculty of Nursing, Asia-Pacific International University.
Design: Descriptive research.
Methods: Subjects consisted of 307 students and 17 teachers. The research instruments were developed by using the CIPP model and the Educational Quality Assurance framework of the Office of Higher Education Committee and Thai Nursing Council as a conceptual framework. The content validity of all instruments was reviewed by 3 experts. Their Cronbach’s alpha coefficients were .97, .98, .98, .98 and .99, respectively. Data were analyzed by using mean and standard deviation.
Findings: Overall, the Bachelor of Nursing Science Curriculum (Revised in 2012) was suitable according to the CIPP model at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.28, SD = .44). The highest levels were found for context (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.38, SD = .50), process (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.27, SD = .51), and product (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.33, SD = .51). Moreover, the highest suitability level was for input (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.13, SD = .46). Conclusion: Study findings were used in the revision of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Curriculum (Revised in 2017) to prepare quality graduate nurses who meet the goals of the institute and serve the needs of society and the country.
