เท้าแบนกับอาการปวดเข่า

บทคัดย่อ

   ภาวะเท้าแบนเป็นภาวะที่พบได้มาก สามารถพบได้ตั้งแต่ในวัยเด็กจนถึงวัยผู้ใหญ่ ภาวะเท้าแบนมีสาเหตุคือ ความผิดปกติตั้งแต่กำเนิด และความผิดปกติที่เกิดขึ้นภายหลัง การเกิดภาวะเท้าแบนนำมาสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านชีวกลศาสตร์ของข้อเท้า ข้อเข่า ข้อสะโพกและหลังส่วนล่าง ภาวะเท้าแบนอาจทำให้เกิดอาการปวดที่บริเวณฝ่าเท้า ส้นเท้า และเอ็นข้อเท้าอักเสบ เป็นต้น รวมทั้งยังนำไปสู่การปวดเข่าและหลังได้ในอนาคต เนื่องจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางชีวกลศาสตร์ของเท้าและข้อเท้าส่งผลต่อการลงน้ำหนักและมีผลต่อการเพิ่มแรงที่กระทำต่อข้อเข่า จะเห็นได้ว่าการเกิดภาวะเท้าแบนไม่ได้กระทบเพียงแค่บริเวณเท้าที่เป็นโครงสร้างหลักเท่านั้นแต่ยังส่งผลต่อข้อต่ออื่นๆ ของร่างกายร่วมด้วย ดังนั้น การตรวจประเมินภาวะเท้าแบนจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญและนำไปสู่การรักษาหรือการออกกำลังที่จำเพาะต่อผู้ที่มีภาวะเท้าแบนเพื่อเป็นการแก้ไขโครงสร้างที่ผิดปกติและเป็นการป้องกันปัญหาสุขภาพที่จะตามมาในอนาคต
