ผลของโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจต่อความรู้ การรับรู้พลังอำนาจและความสามารถในการปฐมพยาบาลและการคัดกรองโรคเบื้องต้นของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขในเรือนจำ

อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขในเรือนจำมีหน้าที่ช่วยเหลือพยาบาลในการดูแลสุขภาพของนักโทษในเรือนจำ การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองหนึ่งกลุ่มแบบวัดซ้ำ เพื่อศึกษาผลของการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจต่อความรู้ การรับรู้พลังอำนาจและความสามารถในการปฐมพยาบาลและการคัดกรองโรคเบื้องต้นของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขเรือนจำ คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง จำนวน 81 ราย โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างจะได้รับโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างพลัง อำนาจ ที่ได้รับความรู้การฝึกทักษะการปฐมพยาบาลและการคัดกรองโรคเบื้องต้น จำนวน 5 ครั้งรวมทั้งหมด 25 ชั่วโมง เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลที่ทัณฑสถานหญิงแห่งหนึ่งในเขตภาคเหนือตอนล่าง เดือนเมษายน 2559 และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติการทดสอบฟรีดแมน (Friedman test) เพื่อทดสอบความแตกต่างและทดสอบรายคู่โดยใช้สถิติการทดสอบวีลคอกซั่น (Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่าอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขเรือนจำที่ได้รับโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ จะมีความรู้ การรับรู้พลังอำนาจและความสามารถในการปฐมพยาบาลและคัดกรองโรคเบื้องต้นในบทบาทหน้าที่ของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขสูงกว่าก่อนได้รับการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ และความรู้การรับรู้พลังอำนาจและความสามารถยังคงอยู่เมื่อประเมินหลัง 12 สัปดาห์หลังได้รับโปรแกรม
โปรแกรมเสริมพลังอำนาจดังกล่าวมีประสิทธิภาพในการเสริมสร้างความรู้ การรับรู้พลังอำนาจ และความสามารถในการปฐมพยาบาลและการคัดกรองโรคเบื้องต้นแก่อาสามสมัครในเรือนจำ ดังนั้นโปรแกรมดังกล่าวควรได้รับการขับเคลื่อนสู่อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขเรือนจำอื่นๆ เพื่อให้อาสมัครสาธารณสุขเรือนจำ มีศักยภาพเบื้องต้นในการดูแลผู้ต้องขังรายอื่นตามเป้าหมายของกรมราชทัณฑ์ที่คาดการณ์ไว้ต่อไป
