Abstract

This cross-sectional study aims to study the preparedness situation and factors that can predict the quality preparation for entering the elderly of health personnel in Trat Province, 256 people were randomly selected by stratified sample. Data were collected by questionnaires during December 20, 2021 to January 20, 2022. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-squared analysis, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient Analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

          The results showed that Public health personnel in Trat Province had a high level of preparation for entering the elderly at a high level of 65.2 percent. There was preparation for entering the elderly at a high level by social support, readiness of the organization, age, and perception of health status in the New Normal era were able to predict the qualitative preparation for entering the elderly by 63.6% with statistical significance (p<.001), with social support being the best predictor followed by the readiness of the organization Age and perception of health status in the New Normal era, respectively. The results of can be used as a guideline for planning the development of preparation for entering the elderly to make working-age health personnel They have adapted and prepared to be able to lead a quality life when entering the elderly.
