This participatory action research aimed to develop a nurse-led smoking cessation model in the small enterprise. Purposive sampling was used to recruit 23 participants. Data collection methods were in-depth interview, focus group discussion and knowledge sharing forum. Interview guideline and focus group guideline were reviewed by 3 experts for content validity. The data collection process consisted of 3 phases as the preparation phase, the action phase, and the evaluation phase. Content analysis was employed for data analysis. The results of preparation phase showed 13.87% of smokers. In action phase, 2 main activities were conducted, including organizational management by the establishment of smoke-free policy and setting up the smoking areas along with the individual management by motivation and supporting smoking cessation. In evaluation phasse, a project evaluation was done through a knowledge-sharing forum. Regarding the outcomes of the development, the smoke-free policy was developed, the number of smoking areas was decreased and workers were participated in convincing workers to quit smoking. The 24 workers participated in smoking cessation activities. Of this number, 29.17% were able to quit smoking after 6 months follow up. The nurse-led smoking cessation model in the small enterprise can promote the smoking cessation among employees which be used as a guideline in workplace-tobacco control.
