ประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพผู้ดูแลแบบเป็นทางการ ในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง จังหวัดหนองบัวลำภู

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง แบบสองกลุ่มวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพผู้ดูแลแบบเป็นทางการในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิงต่อความรู้ความสามารถ ความพึงพอใจในบทบาทหน้าที่ และความพึงพอใจของผู้สูงอายุต่อการดูแลที่ได้รับ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลที่ผ่านการอบรมหลักสูตรผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 420 ชั่วโมง และผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิงในจังหวัดหนองบัวลำภู แบ่งเป็นคู่ผู้ดูแลและผู้สูงอายุกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบกลุ่มละ 32 คน เครื่องมือการวิจัยคือ โปรแกรมการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพตามทฤษฎีการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ของโคล์บ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามสำหรับผู้ดูแลแบบเป็นทางการ ค่าความเชื่อมั่นคูเดอร์-ริชาร์ดสัน 20 เท่ากับ .91 และสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาค .98 และ.98 ตามลำดับ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของผู้สูงอายุ ซึ่งมีสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาค .90 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการทดสอบที
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภายหลังเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม ผู้ดูแลกลุ่มทดลองมีความรู้ ความสามารถ และความพึงพอใจในบทบาทหน้าที่ สูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรม (t = 8.97, 22.99, 27.70, p < .001) และสูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t = 9.05, 22.57, 26.64, p < .001) และผู้สูงอายุกลุ่มทดลอง มีความพึงพอใจต่อการดูแลสูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t = 23.35, p < .001)
ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะดังกล่าวมีประสิทธิผลในการพัฒนาผลลัพธ์ด้านการดูแลและความพึงพอใจ และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในพื้นที่อื่นที่มีบริบทใกล้เคียงกันได้ โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีโรคเรื้อรัง
