Introduction: Coronary artery disease is one of the most common diseases in the world. If the disease recurs, there is a risk of acute myocardial infarction. Screening of patients by coronary angiography using CT scan can diagnose quickly and accurately; However, because the test must control the heart rate so that it does not exceed 65 beats per minute and the contrast media must be injected at high speed, there is a chance that complications may occur.
Methods: This study is a case-specific study of 2 patients who received coronary angiography with computed tomography at Khon Kaen Hospital between June 2023 and November 2023. Data were collected from medical records, patient records and interviews Assess health status according to Gordon's 11 models provide nursing care according to a nursing theory.
Results: In two case studies, patients had their coronary arteries examined by a CT scan. In Provide nursing care in 3 periods: before the test, during the test, and after the test. There have the preparation steps are the same before the test. But from the evaluation before entering, it was found that; Case Study 1: Normal blood pressure 132/95 mmHg, HR 72-88 irregular beats per minute. The doctor gave medicine to reduce the heart rate and provided nursing care. After 30 minutes, the pulse dropped to 65-75 beats per minute. Case study 2: High blood pressure 168/72 mmHg, HR 72 beats per minute. Take regular blood pressure medicine and provide nursing care according to symptoms. After 30 minutes, BP drops to 140/82 mmHg, HR 65 beats per minute. In this step, nursing care is given differently according to the assessed symptoms and when the patient's condition is stable, they can be entering the test. During the test and after the test, nursing care was the same in both cases, with no complications. and received timely diagnosis.
