Nursing care in Patients Cervical Spinal Surgery: case study

Abstract

Introduction: Cervical spinal injury is the hight risk ploblem. The goal of nursing care that prevention of shock and awaremess of complication

 Objectives: Of this study was the purposes of the report were study progression of disease compare with nursing diagnosis planning care plan implementation and evaluation of nursing care

Methods: The retrospective data collection was employed.Date were gathered from the patient’s medical record 2 case studies of data registration in Khonkaen hospital by observation Questionnaire and interview to the patients. It is very important for nurses to be able to perform health assessment and diagnosis health problems in this problems in this population. Marjory Gordon’11 health patterns is a helpful assessment tool in guiding nurses to detect patient’s ploblems  and manage those in timely manner. By the way planning implemented and evaluation of nursing for seven – eight days  that between August until December 2021.

Results: 1)2 case studies Cervical spinal Surgery 2) Nursing diagnosis was Nursing care Pre-operation  Nursing care post-operation and nursing care rehabilitation and continuing care . The most of planning that rehabilitation be careful about complication post operation : The patient recovered well and were discharge from the hospital.

Utilization: The results of the study were developed into nursing standards, nursing practice guidelines, clinical supervision manual, research to study the nursing process for Cervical spinal Surgery
