Abstract

The Nursing and Midwifery Council together with the National Health Security Office (NHSO) jointly established “Warm Community Nursing Clinic” as a contracting unit for providing primary health care services that cover health promotion and disease prevention for individuals and families in the community since 2020. This article endeavored to elucidate concepts and knowledge necessary for carrying out the mission of the Warm Community Nursing Clinic to be successful. In addition to practitioner work, it underscored the significance of administering holistic care to individuals and families, grounded in the principles of family-centered care and community participation, in alignment with primary care attributes. These encompassed “Building trust and rapport in care, Care on first contact basis, Accessible care, Comprehensive care, Integrated care, Continuous care, and Consultation and Referral system”. Furthermore, the article furnished a practical illustration exemplifying the implementation of these principles for the benefit of those who were interested.
