This survey study aimed at exploring the pattern of alcohol use in university students. The sample was 1,567 university students. Data were collected during November, 2013 to February, 2014 by using questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. Results revealed that 66.3% of students ever used alcohol. The mean age of first use of alcohol was 16.8 years old with the ranged of 12 -22 years old. While enrolling in university, 52.9% of students consumed alcohol in different social events and mostly drank with friends. The liquors of choice were beers, brandy, wine or sparkling wine. The popular places to hangout were bars and pubs. The average consumption in each occasion was 3-4 glasses to 1 bottle in approximately 3-4 hours. Students bought liquors from different stores, mainly from convenient stores, followed by food stores. Those stores were located within 1 km radius to the campus.
