การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความรู้และการปฏิบัติตัว และหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้และการปฏิบัติตัวเพื่อการป้องกันการเกิดแผลที่เท้าในผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 ในโรงพยาบาลไฮดอง ประเทศเวียตนาม ทำการศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 จำนวน 384 รายที่มีอายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไป ที่เข้ารับการรักษาที่คลินิกแผนกต่อมไร้ท่อ โรงพยาบาลไฮดอง ประเทศเวียตนาม ทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลระหว่างเดือนเมษายน ถึงเดือนมิถุนายน 2557 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและหาความสัมพันธ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ระดับความรู้ในการป้องกันการเกิดแผลที่เท้าโดยส่วนมากอยู่ในระดับสูง คะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้เท่ากับ 23.08 (คะแนนเต็ม 28) (ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 3.22) ในขณะที่ระดับคะแนนการปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันแผลที่เท้าเท่ากับ 68.38(คะแนนเต็ม 112) (ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 11.93) ความรู้และการปฏิบัติตัวเพื่อการป้องกันการเกิดแผลที่เท้า มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวก(r=0.517) ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .01 (p<.01)

Abstract

This descriptive correlation study was used to describe the level of knowledge, practice and explore the relationship between knowledge and practice regarding foot ulcer prevention among adults with type 2diabetes in Vietnam. Data was collected from 384 type2 diabetic patients aged 18 years and older were randomly selected from the Department of Endocrinology and the Endocrinology Clinic at Hai Duong General Hospital in Vietnam from April 1, 2014 to June 15, 2014.  Descriptive and correlation statistic was used to analyze data. The result showed that knowledge regarding foot ulcer prevention was at high level. The mean knowledge score was 23.08 (S.D. 3.22) out of a possible 28. Practice was found at low level. The mean score and SD of practice regarding foot ulcer prevention was 68.38±11.93 out of a possible 112.  The study revealed that there was a positive correlation between knowledge and practice (r=0.517, P<0.01).
