การพัฒนานักศึกษาพยาบาลให้มีสมรรถนะด้านการดูแล ที่มีความละเอียดอ่อนเชิงเพศภาวะ สำาหรับการดูแลบุคคลที่เจ็บป่วย และบุคคลที่มีความพิการ (The Development of the Competency of Gender Sensitive Care on Nursing Students for Care Person with Sickness and Disabilities)

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการนี้ศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะด้านการดูแลที่มีความละเอียดอ่อนเชิงเพศภาวะสำาหรับบุคคลที่เจ็บป่วย และบุคคลที่มีความพิการ ของนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 3 จำานวน 32 คน จากวิทยาลัยพยาบาลบรมราชชนนี พระพุทธบาท จังหวัดสระบุรี จำานวนผู้พิการ 59 คน และผู้ดูแลจำานวน 38 คน ศึกษาระหว่างเดือนมิถุนายน - ธันวาคม 2553 เก็บข้อมูลจากการสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วม การสนทนากลุ่ม บันทึกการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษา การบันทึกภาคสนาม และวิเคราะห์แก่นสาระของข้อมูล พบว่าการพัฒนาประกอบด้วยการให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับมโนทัศน์ของความละเอียดอ่อนเชิงเพศภาวะ และการสะท้อนคิดเกี่ยวกับการนำาหลักการวิเคราะห์เพศภาวะมาใช้ในกระบวนการพยาบาลหลังจากฝึกปฏิบัติในสถานการณ์จริง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาพยาบาลมีความตระหนักเกี่ยวกับการดูแลที่มีความละเอียดอ่อนเชิงเพศภาวะ แต่ยังต้องการพัฒนาสมรรถนะด้านความละเอียดอ่อนเชิงเพศภาวะที่มีความเหมาะสมกับเพศภาวะของบุคคลเพิ่มขึ้น การวิจัยนี้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะว่าควรบูรณาการมุมมองเพศภาวะไปใช้ในหลักสูตร และการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล

The purpose of this action research was to develop the gender competencies for care person with sickness and disabilities of 32 undergraduate nursing students, the third year of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Praputhabat, Saraburi Province, 59 people with disabilities, and 38 caregivers, during June - December 2010. Data collected from participation observation, portfolio, fieldnote, focus group discussion, and thematically analyzed. Findings showed that the development including, providing knowledge of gender concepts, and reflection gender analysis into nursing process after practice in the real situations. The results showed that nursing students can fundamentally practice with gender awareness, but it required increasingly improve gender-specific competency. This research is recommended integrating gender perspective into curriculum and nursing practice.
