Abstract

Teenage pregnancy is a critical stage which has high risk exposures to complications such as abortion, anemia with pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, preterm labor, low birth weight infant, dead fetus in utero, and etc. Nurses have a crucial role to promote normal pregnancy in teenage pregnancy as well as maternal tasks adaptation.  Additionally, the applied method should be in accordance with individual needs and developmental tasks of pregnancy. This also includes development of social support from relatives to motivate, advise and help the teenage pregnancy.
