Factors associated with practicing of elderly health promoting among health personal at Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital, Sukhothai Province

Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive research was to study factors related to the elderly health promotion practice of public health personnel in Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital, Sukhothai Province. Research sample was 100 public health personnel in the Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital who were selected by a simple random sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Point biserial correlation coefficient, Eta correlation coefficient, and Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Research results revealed that the resources for the elderly health promotion administration, elderly health promotion administration process, and the practice of promoting the health of the elderly were at a high level. The number of elderly health promotion training were has a very low level of positive correlation with the health promotion operation of the elderly. Statistical significance (r = 0.262, p-value = 0.008). Elderly health promotion administration process was statistically significant at positively correlation to the elderly health promotion practices (r = 0.522, p-value <0.001). Apart from elderly health promotion administration process, planning, organization, director, coordination, and reporting had statistically significant at low positive correlation to the elderly health promotion practice (r = 0.436, 0.475, 0.424, 0.402, 0.459, respectively, p-value < 0.001)
